# BOGUS COPYLEFT POLICY
Last Updated: October 31, 2024
## Philosophy
We believe in the power of shared absurdity. Everything we create at Speculation Circus is meant to be shared, remixed, and experimentally deployed into the wild. This policy ensures our work remains free (as in freedom) while preserving its satirical essence.
## License Terms
### Core Terms
All Speculation Circus works, including but not limited to:
- Source code
- Branding elements
- Creative concepts
- Experimental products
- Documentation
- Memes and shitposts
- Financial satire
- Speculative artifacts
Are released under a combination of MIT License and Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), with the following additional conditions:
1. **The Satirical Clause**: Any derivative works must maintain the satirical spirit of the original. You can't make it serious - that defeats the purpose.
2. **The "WAGMI" Provision**: All derivative works must acknowledge that We're All Gonna Make It (WAGMI), even if we're not sure where we're going.
3. **The Experimental Understanding**: These works are experimental. They might break things. That's part of the fun. No warranty provided or implied.
### You are free to:
- Copy, modify, and distribute our code
- Remix our branding
- Create derivative works
- Use our stuff commercially
- Make it better
- Make it worse
- Make it weird
### Under the following conditions:
1. **Attribution**: You must:
- Credit Speculation Circus
- Link to our repository
- Indicate if changes were made
- Maintain any joke comments in the code
2. **ShareAlike**: Any derivative works must:
- Be released under the same license
- Keep the same level of absurdity
- Stay open source
- Maintain this copyleft policy
3. **Transparency**: You must:
- Clearly mark all derivatives as experimental
- Include appropriate DYOR disclaimers
- Acknowledge the satirical nature
### You cannot:
- Take yourself too seriously
- Remove satire warnings
- Claim our experiments are "production ready"
- Use our work to scam people
- Patent the obvious
- Sue anyone over this stuff
## Implementation
### For Code Repositories
Include the following in your README:
“This is a Speculation Circus experiment, released under the BOGUS Copyleft Policy.
Original: [link to this policy]
DYOR: This is satire. Not financial advice. Might break everything.”
### For Creative Works
“Created with 🦒 by Speculation Circus
Licensed under BOGUS Copyleft Policy
Fork the system responsibly”
## Special Provisions
### Cryptocurrency Context
While our work may reference or interact with cryptocurrency concepts, this license:
- Does not guarantee any financial returns

## Contact

Remember: The point isn't just to share code - it's to share the joy of building weird things together.
